Wow July just took off at a pace I wasn’t ready for and I am doing my best to keep up with the flow of things and still be a good mom to my babies! So I am a little behind on this sneak peek, but this is the R family and they renewed their vows this past weekend at a small, intimate ceremony with their close family and friends. We had fun getting a few family portraits before the ceremony and some special shots during the ceremony!
Congratulations on a wonderful milestone in your marriage! I wish you many more tens!!

As many of you know two years ago I was able to participate in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day. This year I am doing it again!!
I will be walking in DC in October. One of the requirements is that I raise $2200 in order to even participate, I am about a 1/4 of the way there.
So my good friend Shelby offered to host a “Portrait Party” as a fundraiser and it is taking place Thursday July 31st starting at 9am.
For a minimal donation I will be photographing children only in 20 minute time slots. There are only a couple of spots remaining that I am hoping we can get filled! We can book up to 3 children in the same family in a spot.

That’s what fun sessions are made of!! I had such a great time shooting the C family, we had so much fun and the kids {and parents of course} put up with all my crazy ideas and I think their patience paid off! I have so many favorites from this session it was hard to narrow it down to just a few for a sneak peek!!

Meet B and her adorable little girl! I had so much fun spending a little bit of time with them! Little Miss G took a few minutes to warm up and then she was off and running and had me laughing!! I love when my job is this much fun!!
I think we got some great shots for your daddy Miss G!!!

This is a very special family. N and her boys wait here at home for their daddy to return. He is in the military protecting this great country!
I am proud to be a member of Operation Love Reunited and am happy to be able to give back a little to someone who gives so much!!

N here is your sneak peek!

Little C loves the water and we had so much fun running around in the waves and getting wet and sand in our pants. I wish I had gotten a shot of me at the end, I was a mess!! It was a blast though and C was so fun to photograph and talk to. He has an amazing vocabulary and is so smart at just 2.5! He is also quite the little flirt
I could not stop smiling while I was proofing the sneak peeks, you can see the love with momma and C and it is so sweet!

Well my head and half of my face the rest was covered by my camera!!
I was part of a great event today that was arranged by another local photographer for Operation Love Reunited. It was pretty awesome that the news showed up to cover this event and interview one of the families of a deployed soldier.
I will post more about it in the next few days and have some sneak peeks from the awesome families I worked with today!!

This isn’t directly related to photography or really related at all but I am still sharing because it is such a wonderful thing.
My little sister is developmentaly disabled and has found a wonderful community and learning center at St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center here in San Diego. Recently 1o News teamed up with Oprah’s Big Give to award a $10,000 matching donation to one of five San Diego non-profit organizations.
After picking 5 non-profits from all that applied and the community voting, St. Madeleine’s won the donation! My little sister appears a few times in the video that aired on 10 news recently, you can see her packing lunches and again digging in the worm farm!
She is enjoying her newfound celebrity status
